Yes i agree with MMRWA.

i didnt get nan and paneer had to compromise with dinner. i also request issue a apolology to all residents for inconvenience caused by bad arrangement on food. D.j was of poor quality, purely of a bad taste. my family even didnt get even proper food. this is what u never plan for new year party.

Dear Residents,

MMRWA planned New Year event to deliver a very good quality overall specially including food. MMRWA's prim focus was on food quality, hygienic and no mismanagement.  We had done many meetings with our vendor (Rahul Agarwal) that being resident of this  society you must be knowing previous year new year party feedback and based on that we cannot afford any chaos and mismanagement.

When MMRWA initiated 300 rs /-  collection per person, it was in our mind that we will deliver excellent quality.  There were lots of snags during the event and residents feedback is also there. Based on that MMRWA took decision.

It is quite illogical saying 550 plates consumed while we sold only aprox 370 coupons. This is quite absurd . His allegations are that 5 residents shared in one plate.  This is how he is defaming mahagun residents dignity.

There is huge snag list which MMRWA will public and public may decide what to do :-

1.  Only extremely fortunate people got Roti/nan . People can give feedback on this .
2.  Gazar Ka Halwa ... it was totally third quality Halwa ... We had think of giving good.
3.  Only 1200 gol gappa was arranged and only one coffee machine arranged while commitment was much more.
4. Tawa roti was also committed but it was missing.

5. Around 25 people didn't came who had taken tickets. What would have happened if they all come and ask gives us food while food was over around 11PM.

6. Beef Biryani was served by Vendor to last set of guests on auspicious Tuesday.  When food was shortage. Vendor arranged food from outside. He is very clever we must say. he brought rice from shahabery Hotel after removing beef from the biriyani. It was caught and shown to him immediately by MMRWA.

MMRWA doesn't have any issue in paying the full amount but person broke commitment and trust of the MMRWA which we had done to residents while collecting 300 RS/- .

Regards
MMRWA

The agreement for the payment was as per the plates consumed. After the event, when I went to collect my payment on 4th January 2014 evening in the meeting with some of the elite members of MMRWA, I was asked that the payment will be made as per the coupons. I returned the advance of 1000/- cash which were given to me.

Earlier commitment was as mentioned below:

Minimum Plates will be 250, maximum plates 300 at the run time at 4pm in the evening of 31st Dec, I was conveyed that minimum plates required to serve will be 375 without increasing my fixed rate.

250 plates fixed @290 per plate(Inclusive of snacks, food, DJ,Bouncy, Carrycatcher,Tent, Puppet show, Lights, Angeethi, Stage, Tattoo)

rest plates @220 per plate (Inclusive of snacks, food, DJ,Bouncy, Carrycatcher,Tent, Puppet show, Lights, Angeethi, Stage, Tattoo)

Chhole bhature for guard (100 plates)- 2000/-

Laddu 5 kg(1kg each box) at run time - 700/-

Disposable plates for guards -200/-

According to this commitment the plates consumed were 550. The total payment = Rs.1,41,400.

After the settlement, I agreed to accept payment as per the coupons,

the total coupons were = 360

Awanish ji's friends' plates = 2

Policemen accompanied by Awanish ji = 5

Awanish ji asked to give plates to a resident = 2

Total = 369

Payment:

Fixed Plates charges = 250xRs290 = 72500

Other Plates charges = 119xRs220 = 26180

Guards' food = 2000

Guards' Laddu = 700

Guards' Disposable plates = 200

Total = Rs.1,01,580 + taxes

I have been given a cheque of 70,000/-. When I asked Mr. Awanish who handed over me the cheque, he told me that RWA executive body has deducted amount of Rs. 31,580/- (exclusive of taxes) against the poor quality of event.

To justify my quality I want to tell you that :

1. I have used Milkfood ghee to make gajar halwa

2. I have used DJ who was having JBL Speakers.

3. I used MDH spices, Fortune Oil for the food preparation

4. I used Funfoods soya sauce and vinegar. I used Maggie ketchup.

5. I put double bouncy for kids.

6. I added complimentary Cornpalak, Chowmien, Magic show.

7. I have not asked for coupon for last 25 people as the food was less.

I have relevant documents with me in support of my case. I can mail you if you want to go through them.

Despite of my regular follow up and intimation to President and General Secretary, rest of the payment has not been made. So, me and my family are going on indefinite 24x7peaceful Dharna against MMRWA till the last breathe of my life starting from 29th January 2014so that in future an honest person will not suffer working with any RWA member.

I request you to support me.

Re: [RWA-Mascot:5818] Re: FIGHT AGAINST INJUSTICE :Fwd: Regarding New Year Eve Payment

I just came to know about all this things going on in mail. I will send you a very detail mail later but first want to put few pointers up front here.

1) Mrs Deepika Ji, As you are an woman and we respect you as we respect for other women in our society. All of our discussion happend with Araws Services and Rahul. We will entertain only the mails and question from Rahul and Araws Services.

2) As a resident you are always welcome to discuss society related issues with us but we do not recognize you as any vendor.

3) We had a long discussion before making the payment and Mr. Rahul agreed to it that's how we made a payment of 70,000 to Rahul in his name considering he is also a resident of our society not considering him as a vendor. In previous discussion he was not agree and returned the advance amount and checque of 40 thoudsand to us and later he approcahed us for this sattlement. He accepted this checque and gave a receiving as well. Now we are going to stop this payment as the payment was made in name of 'Rahul Agrawal'. Now we will pay the checque in name of 'Araws Services'. Also please share your TIN number and other company details which will help us to recognize you as a registered Catering Services.

4) The non-veg food was defenetly served to me and I immediately showed it to Rahul along with my othe friends who confirmed yes it is non veg, as I do not take non veg not even egg to be very presise here. Mr. Rahul Agrawal accepted it is a non veg food and he apologized there for it.

Please wait for few more mails from me.

Dear All,

Though I am maintaining the website for MMRWA (and hence indirectly associated with MMRWA), I would like to put my family's feedback for the food items.

SNACKS

1 CHOWMIEN (COMPLIMENTRY) - My family waited for long to get few Golgappe, finally was no option; just to get some chowmin.

2 ALOO TIKKI - The stall opened around 8:30 and it was over by 8:45

3 GOLGAPPE WITH KHATTA/MEETHA PANI) - Same as aloo tikki; now could not believe that 1600 golgappa could gone in hardly 300 people. There was one stall to serve Golgappa; if I say 1 golgappa is being served per second (Which should be a world record); then also it will take at least 30 min to finish those many.

MAIN COURSE

1 SHAHI PANEER - I got this.

2 MIX VEG - Did not get this.

3 CHHOLE - I got this.

4 PALAKCORN (COMPLIMENTRY) - It was available, but I don't like.

5 PULAO - I got rice.. it was not pulao.

6 NAAN - My family wanted this, and I got 1/4th piece of it between complete family; after requesting Rahul ji in the cooking tent area.

7 ROTI - i was not knowing that this was even part of the Manu :)

8 MISSI - Same as roti

9 GULAB JAMUN - Not in Menu. replaced by Gajar halwa, but I would say the gajar halwa was simply "boiled gajar+Sugar" (Don't know who actually cooked it).

10 DAHI BHALLE - Did not get

11 SALAD - Initially got it, but for a repeat it was over.

12 ACHAAR - Got it.

13 PAPAD - Was it in Menu?

BEVARAGES

1 Coffee Machine with vendor (coffee-Nescafe) - I got one cup each for the family.

2 JALJEERA (COMPLIMENTRY) - It was not there at all.

3 WATER - I suspected that it was even an RO water. At the same time I told this to my wife that don't drink this water.. it is not RO/purified.

Regarding beef biryani, though I am not a victim; but this would be a worst nightmare for a person like me.
Other people could also share their feedback on food, which was main thing in the new year party.

[RWA-Mascot:4945] Re: Shaft Window

Agree with Gaurav... Some iron jaali should be put. and the shaft should be locked and CSK should supervise regularly, if none of them is open.

Hi All,
As CSK has put new Iron grills on ground floor shafts window. I noticed few concerns :

1. The gap among the iron rods is much wider then cemented rods. Anyone can easily see the inside even more than 10 fts distance. So Ground floor flats owner can not open bathroom window, and if they do that it may be visible from outside. CSK should put some iron jali/rod to minimize this gap.

2. Iron windows should be lock, otherwise any one can enter there.

3. Now CSK should put a regular cleaning plan in place, cause these are the best places for mosquito breeding.

I personally told this Mr. Yash, however having little faith if any action will be taken. So trying to copy to MMRWA team.

[RWA-Mascot:2001] Re: [CROMA Executive Body] Re: [mahagunmascot] Re: [CROMA] Re: Need to Collect the RWA E-Mail, Group Distribution Mail and Website Address

MEDICAL BENEFITS OF PRAYER:---------------------------------------

Whenever our near or dear one suffers a sickness most of us often pass on the heartfelt promise that we'll "pray for him or her". So many people believe in the power of prayer that it's now caught the attention of scientific doctors.

Today most hospitals and nursing homes are building prayer rooms for their patients.  It is base don the principle that the relaxed mind is a creative mind. During prayer, when one is in touch with the consciousness, one is able to take conscious based right decisions. Most doctors even write on their prescriptions "I treat He cures".

Medically it has been shown that even the subconscious mind of the unconscious person is listening. Any prayer would be captured by him building his or her inner confidence and faith to come out of the terminal sickness.  We have seen the classical example of the effect of mass prayer on Amitabh Bacchan's illness.

"Praying for your health is one of the most common complementary treatments people do on their own," said Dr. Harold G. Koenig, co-director of the Center for Spirituality, Theology and Health at Duke University Medical Center.

About 90% of Americans and almost 100 % Indians pray at some point in their lives, and when they're under stress, such as when they're sick, they're even more likely to pray.

More than one-third of people surveyed in a recent study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine said they often turned to prayer when faced with medical concerns. In the poll involving more than 2,000 Americans, 75 percent of those who prayed said they prayed for wellness, while 22 percent said they prayed for specific medical conditions.

Numerous randomized studies have been done on this subject. In one such study, neither patients nor the health-care providers had any idea who was being prayed for. The coronary-care unit patients didn't even know there was a study being conducted. And, those praying for the patients had never even met them. The result: While those in the prayer group had about the same length of hospital stay, their overall health was slightly better than the group that didn't receive special prayers.

"Prayer may be an effective adjunct to standard medical care," wrote the authors of this 1999 study, also published in the Archives of Internal Medicine. However, a more recent trial from the April 2006 issue of the American Heart Journal suggets that it's even possible for some harm to come from prayer. In this study, which included 1,800 people scheduled for heart surgery, the group who knew they were receiving prayers developed more complications from the procedure, compared to those who had not been a focus of prayer.

Many patients are reluctant and do not talk on this subject with their doctors. Only 11% patients mention prayer to their doctors. But, doctors are more open to the subject than patients realize, particularly in serious medical situations. In a study of doctors' attitudes toward prayer and spiritual behavior, almost 85 percent of doctors thought they should be aware of their patients' spiritual beliefs. Most doctors said they wouldn't pray with their patients even if they were dying, unless the patient specifically asked the doctor to pray with them. In that case, 77% of doctors were willing to pray for their patient.

Most people are convinced that prayer helps. Some people are 'foxhole religious' types and prayer's almost a reaction or cry to the universe for help. But, many people do it because they've experienced benefit from it in the past.

If it's something you want to do and you feel it might be helpful, there's no reason you shouldn't do it.  If one has inclination that prayer might work, he or she should do it.
