Hi Yogesh,

The first case is the transfer of Ownership of the flat and you need to pay the transfer charges to the builder as per your agreement(if specified there). As per current agreement registry can be done only on the names of current owners. For second case also I think builder would demand something to remove name of joint owner also might require some legal document like notarized affidavit etc.

1. Do i have to pay any fee to builder to change the contract to my father/mother name? Can i simply go and get the registration done in my father/mother name without changing the contract.

2. Do i need to pay any fee to builder to take out one name from contract i.e. take out my name and get registration done in my wife's name only.
