I agree too and I hope there would be a system in India when people can file FIR easily but the hard core truth is if I approach police they will ask for money from me to file a FIR or say why do you want to file a FIR when there is almost nothing gone from your home.

I remember, few years back there was a real theft worth lacks in one of my friend home and he faced lot of issues in filing a FIR, I think he approached some high post govt. official just to file his FIR for theft and still had to make lots of rounds to police station. This is not the one off case. There are many...

Some one had stolen all the water taps from Kitchen and both the bathrooms from my empty flat. This is a real serious issue and cannot be taken lightly as many families are living there and it is a risk to everyone. I would like all the residents to pay stricter attention to it and look for the thief as these may happen in immediate future also. There is a pattern in theft and they are eying only vacant flats till now but you never know when they would start attacking on all sorts of flats.

In my case, this has happened the night before yesterday only. I would get the IRON Gate installed as early as possible and would request fellow residents also for the same who have not done this till now.
