[RWA-Mascot:276] Re: [CROMA] DON’T ENGAGE CONTRACTOR “AMAN” FOR ANY WOODWORK OR ANY OTHER WORK

I had myself, written about my loss of about 6-7 K ... but again another victim...
Lets make them pay for this. Mr Nitin, you must report this to Police... we have Police station in Crossing itself, then only these guys will stop.

They have cheated many people.

This is to inform, infact warn everybody thinking of hiring a woodwork contractor in Crossings Republik that DON'T ENGAGE CONTRACTOR "AMAN" FOR ANY WOODWORK OR ANY OTHER WORK. He will engage you in his sweet talk and get money advances from you perhaps even work the initial days to impress you, that your work will get done in a matter of days. But soon thereafter when you have placed your trust in him,  and passed on enough money to him, you will be finally at his mercy and thereon you'll see and hear his string of excuses for not working, not working enough, not delivering on time,  infact for being away from the work location for n number of days without notice. You may be driven to a point when you will feel like reporting him to the police but then one fine day he'll send one  worker to show that he's still serious about delivering but just to stop you from walking till the police station. The quality of the work is sub standard, prices are over hiked and with timelines not being met the whole deal will fall way too expensive for you. Plus if you happen to be like me, staying currently in a rented accommodation, you'll end up paying additional rent for months together, without knowing uptil when you will be paying the same. Plus you end up paying the maintenance of your Crossings house,  waste fuel  in commuting up and down from your current house to Crossing just to find that the contractor is not working at all since the last 2- 3 months .

He takes on new projects by showing the current one as sample, and when the new project comes to him, he shuns the old one and starts to concentrate his work force on the new project. So while you feel yourself to be the lucky one who'll move to his/her own house, your dreams will be shattered soon. He does not have any intentions of completing your flats' woodwork. He just lives on the margins he makes between projects, take advance from here and spend some here, rest all in the various others. So while you paid all that you had – your hard earned money- so that he completes the work without delays he actually uses your cash as capital for his other projects leaving you with just hopes that – he just might feel your pain and complete your work some day.  Plus the samples that he shows you will be different and the material that he will actually uses will be entirely different.

Right now my house is in such a state that I can neither start to stay there nor can I ask another contractor to complete the work. And with my money stuck up I have a "lose lose" battle in front of me. I had found his phone number through the CROMA site so I believe it is my duty to let those of you know who are yet to hire a contractor for their house's woodwork , that Aman ( also his bro Arif & Salman- all one and the same) are not to be trusted.

Pay a little more but get work done from somebody whom either you know personally through prior work done, or go to some established interiors guy , who atleast will have  a shop where you can go and complain. With this man – you have no shop, no address to turn to, his phone numbers will come either busy or not reachable. Contrary to earlier times when he used to call back instantly on getting any missed call he now switches off his mobile as soon as he gets my call. I have decided to somehow get the front door grill fixed so that atleast I can start to lock things that I shift to this house and soon I'll start to stay in whatever mess he has created of my house. Had I shifted without woodwork atleast the house walls were in tolerable shape, but now every nook and corner is dirtied with hand marks, pencil marks, hammer marks, so much so, that you cannot imagine staying there without doing entire paint work again. But in order to get that I need the cupboards to be in place first, which this guy hasn't done as yet.  Apart from everything else the money that I have lost, the time that I have wasted behind him, I have my ailing mother, who is  a kidney patient  who lives with me and always had a dream for me that I will have my "own house" one day, but with each passing day I do not know whether she will live to see the next, I wanted her to atleast live in the new house, her own house, for some time in her last days, but looks like "Aman" contractor just won't let that happen.  So its all a vicious circle and am getting nowhere. So for those of you who want to save themselves some hard earned money, not easily dispensable time and dreams- DON'T HIRE "AMAN" FOR ANY WOODWORK.

For Clarity's sake here are the phone Numbers he is using: 9990785590, 8882112995, 9871879836

Am adding this as post script:-By the time I was able to post this another incident of this fraudster, after much bickering and chasing in the last few weeks we found him just to get in his trap once again wherein we tried to play the "Pooja tactic"- saying that we will be having the "grah pravesh" in the Navratris and we need the house ready immediately. Hearing this, he once again gave false promises about atleast fixing the front door grill. Next day he was invisible but he said on the phone the next day that he was at the grill walla, fixing the grill as there was no electricity for welding and ply boards for the remainder work have reached the house. We were very thrilled to hear this thinking that just may be NOW he will start to work. And today on going to the house without notice we find the door is locked, no body is working, of course there is no grill to be seen anywhere and absolutely no ply board either. Luckily this time we had duplicate keys to the main door this time and we could open the door. On 2 separate occasions we have had to bang open the door by breaking the front lock as the workers were missing, nobody was picking up phone calls, I had bank people standing at the door asking for proof that it is my house. On another occasion the guy who came to fix RO in the kitchen was standing outside and we had no clue what to do outside a locked house. All in all first day of Navratri and a totally frustrating day, thanks to this fraud. So Beware of Him!!

Re: [RWA-Mascot:273] Re: Please vote for the best Logo

Very nice work by Sujoy ...I liked all the logos and most of them are able to convey the message they meant for.

However, the preference first choice is #2 only (as suggested by most residents).

[RWA-Mascot:270] Re: Please vote for the best Logo

Dear All,

Thanks for participating in the Best Logo Voting for our RWA. Based on the maximum voting for the Logo#2, we incorporated some changes and finalised the Logo which will now be used for our RWA. Please find the enclosed attachment as final Logo which was designed by Sujoy. Thank you very much Sujoy for your nice designing.

I wanted to say thanks to Sabeswar Ji (Verona-1628) for defining the meaning of Logo. The reason being selecting this logo is:

-  Very much relevant for resident welfare association

-  Color combination and the visibility is very much clear

-  Joining two hands makes a home with window

-  Logo surrounds with half circle it mean there is very good bonding among us

-  There is shadow of circle that shows we all together under on roof

Let me know if anyone has been question/concern.

Thanks & Regards,

All,

I had a word with Mahagun representative that a portion of the shopping complex will be demolished but not the total structure.

We need to discuss, so that whatever the outcome be, all demolished work should be completed asap & the area should be properly barricaded for safety. The area after demolishing should be used for some fruitful purpose.
