Re: [RWA-Mascot:582] Re: Frequent Power Cuts

On several occasions I have found that, power supply is not switched back to normals even when UPPCL supply has resumed, for the reasons best known to CSK. I am saying so because several times when after long duration of power backup running, when I called up the maintenance guys they say they would check, and normal is resumed within minutes! Also many times power supply is switched from backup to normal without tripping of the electricity(which is must in case of normal switch over)! So something definitely is amiss somewhere.

One more thing I have noticed is that, whenever there is switch over from backup to normal power, meter keeps on displaying backup supply(with red LED glowing) for couple of minutes and then it goes off!

Yeah... too much of power disruption...
Today [14-May] , it was huge... we must ask for power cut roaster... I also noticed that while other society's light is there, we face power drop.  can't understand the dynamic... seems they have all the plan to cheat us.
When I asked about the same.. their answer was, they are not getting the same from CRPCL...

Hi,

Are the power cuts these days scheduled?? We are facing 15-18 Hrs power cut for almost a week now. I believe CSK has agreed to share power roster with residents but the same is yet not shared. Also I have observed distruption in backup supply which ideally should not happen. Another observation is that on resumption of UPPCL power supply, power backup goes blank for few minutes after that main supply resume. I am not sure if my observations are correct or not, requesting fellow mascotians for their views.
