Re: [RWA-Mascot] Re: Power backup billing as against Possession agreement letter - CSK cheating us all!

Hi GD,

I am sure you meant to say that you are 'living here since Oct-2011' and not 2012 :)

Yes Power backup charges started around sometime in month of Jan only and thats why I have been pursuing this issue since then, but unfortunately to no avail yet!

Thanks,
Gurpreet Singh

Woaaah.... Thanks for the information...

I am living here since Oct-2012.. and they have started power backup in Jan, I guess. These guys never ever mentioned the same.
I need to check all the bills till date..

Meanwhile, we had another issue on fixed charges being levied @ INR 65 / KVA, while it should have been INR 40 / KVA. Please see the below post:

Did anybody have any update on this? Anybody previously living in other society noticed any such issue?

Thanks.

Hi All,

I am not sure if anyone have yet notice this or not but I have been following up this up with Mr. K.P Singh from maintenance since last 3-4 months and I haven't yet got any satisfactory answer and resolution to it. So thought of bringing this up via this forum.

Plas Possession agreement signed by us with Mahagun, under the section 'Agreement of Pre-Payment Energy Metering System', on page 3 - Section 8(i) as below:

It clearly mentions two cases as:

1>In case a flat owner uses power backup for amount less than equal to Rs 100, it should be reimbursed at the end of the month.
Fore example say, I have consumed power backup amounting to Rs 70 only in the month of Feb, then on 1st Mar I should get these Rs70 credited back to my account as I have already paid in excess as Rs 100 (as part of daily fixed charges).

2> In case a flat owner uses power backup for amount more than Rs 100, then Rs 100 should be reimbursed at the end of month.
Fore example say, I have consumed power backup amounting to Rs 150 only in the month of Feb, then on 1st Mar I should get these Rs100 credited back to my account as I have already paid in as Rs 100 (as part of daily fixed charges).

Note: Both the examples above are considering sanctioned power backup of 1KVA only for larger loads the equations would change accordingly. In fact for larger loads the amount eligible for reimbursement would be much higher!

But this isn't happening yet and Rs100/KVA of sanctioned power backup load, we are paying as part of fixed charges are going to drain and CSK is illegally pocketing that money for their gain. As I said I have been following this up since Jan, 12 but each month I am being told by Mr. K P Singh that it would be taken care of from next month and reimbursements would be done automatically next month onwards.

Hence I would appreciate if we could take this up with CSK higher authorities through this forum.

PS: My apologies from all as I am unable to attend the RWA general body meetings on Saturdays and/or Sundays as I am mostly out on weekends due to some personal obligations. But my full support with you all to make Mahagun Mascot as better rather best place to live.
